Come on, admit it, we all like a drink (allegedly) at Christmas and New Year. In conjunction with the Consell of Ibiza's efforts to get us all home safely after an absolute skinful of ale by providing cheap all-night buses over the main nights of the festivities - See Ibiza Spotlight News for the full timetable – we have produced a handy guide to help you identify your ride home when you see everything twice.
Do NOT try to memorise these photos, it won't work. Print them off and put them somewhere safe, like your sock, so you won't lose them.
A Bus - good
A Taxi – good
Your Car – not good
Have a safe journey home!

Ibiza Airport Air Traffic Controllers' 'Strike'
The mass walkout by Ibiza's 3 air traffic controllers caused Es Codolar International Airport to close last Friday afternoon but the news today is that everything is back to normal. We have some exclusive photos of the departures area of the airport.
They were taken the week before the strike when the only people in the place other than the staff were the 11 of us on the flight to Palma so it's not surprising that the airport has returned to normality so quickly.
Contrast the photos with your memories of Ibiza in August!

Ibiza Firemen's Calendar
We all need a calendar for next year, so how about buying one that will raise money for good causes AND look pretty good on your office wall.
May we present the Ibiza Firemen's calendar for 2011 which features 12 shots of the 'bomberos' in action – mostly without regulation uniform.
It costs a mere €6 and the money all goes to two charities in Ibiza – Disparate and the Alzheimer Association, with some going to fund the firemen's team's participation in the next Firemen and Police Olympics in New York.
Here's a video of how they made the 2009 calendar
You can find the calendar in the Fire Station near Amnesia or on the Disparate stall at the San Jorge flea market each Saturday morning.
For a sneak preview of more like the above check out the Diario de Ibiza's Photo Gallery

Ibiza Hotel Calendar
There's a great new calendar out for 2011 that features some of Ibiza's oldest hotels. Each month has a poster from the hotel from the early days of tourism and on the reverse side, a history of the hotel.
It's published by local business Barbary Press which is the brainchild of its author Martin Davies. Born in Liverpool in 1961, Davies had worked in the national Art Library in the V&A before moving to Ibiza in 1993 to become an English teacher.
The calendar will be available to buy in Ibiza's bookshops.
Our local newspaper Diario de Ibiza is hosting the calendar's launch in its club on 2nd December and has a gallery of photos online – Take a look!
