For no other reason than I had to go to my bank nearby, here's Es Pollastre in San Antonio which is in the market at the back of town and goes that extra mile as far as take aways go.
There's an enormous range of roast meats, lamb, chicken and pork and more salads, vegetables, rice, olives, pasta, pulses and bread than you could possibly eat.
A whole roast chicken and the most deliciously aromatic and tasty sauce here will set you back €8. Add your favourite side dishes, stir in a nice red wine from the supermarket and Roberto's your uncle, a cracking evening meal on your balcony!
