An almost invisible downside to this, as allergy sufferers everywhere will attest, is pollen! 50% of the island is still covered in virgin pine forest, and at this time of the year everywhere seems to be coated in the fine yellow dust of pine pollen.

Natural Ibiza: The Downside
There's a strong argument that February is the best month to see Ibiza. The vegetation is lush and green, the almond blossom is still out and the island is carpetted in bright yellow sorrel flowers.
