Ibiza, Isle of the Famous.
August in Ibiza was just a blur of parties attended by the rich, the famous, and the rich and famous. Not that I went to any, but our favourite local newspaper, the Diario de Ibiza, sent its cameramen along to record every sip of champagne, every fashion faux pas, every nip and tuck and every gleaming theatrical smile.
