There's nothing quite like going to the cinema in the open air on a balmy summer's evening. A rare experience for we northern Europeans, there's an annual Open Air Cinema season in the towns and villages of Santa Eulalia every July and August, and all for free. The films shown are in Various languages and usually subtitled as well so nearly all of us can understand what's going on.

Film Ibiza: Don Seenu
It may seem strange to come all the way from India to make a film in Ibiza, but that's exactly what's happened in the case of the new 'Tollywood' production Don Seenu.
The whole cast and crew have been filming in India, Switzerland, Barcelona and now Ibiza for this new production which is in Telugu, the official language of Andhra Pradesh, one of India's largest states.
The film is a musical and stars Ravi Teja and Shriya Saran, who unfortunately ran into a spot of trouble in Barcelona when their passports were stolen.
I had a chat with the lovely young leading actress who told me that they'd come to Ibiza because of its beautiful scenery and beaches. She was a little disappointed that weather wasn't as warm and sunny as she'd hoped, but as she had an MA from Cardiff University she was used to dull, grey weather.
The film is scheduled for release on 25th December 2010.
