Historic Ibiza: Theatrical Visits

We gave you a little tempter in our news section of the theatrical visits to Dalt Villa in English. Thanks to the Ibiza Tourist Authorities we have some more information and photos.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Ibiza being declared a World Heritage City, the Ibiza Town Council organised a guided tour by actors around its old citadel. In a series of vignettes, the actors tell the story of an impossible love affair between two people from different classes, and in doing so, illustrate just how life was in the city in the 16^th century.

This Saturday evening trip back in time is organised by local historian Antonio Ferrer Abárzuza and theatre director Neus Torres and played out by 3 actors Juanjo Torres ‘Resi’ , Juanjo Ribera and Ana Linero.

The tours started way back in January in Spanish and Catalan and now that the tourist season is at its height, they are available in English for a minimum group size of 15 people. The visit must be reserved in advance by phone 971399232 or email informacioturistica@eivissa.es
