Ibiza Art Hotel: Mercedes Laguens

You may well know that the Ibiza Gran Hotel in Ibiza town also styles itself as an 'Art Hotel' with permanent spaces and works on its walls. Some while ago we featured this new concept for Ibiza in our Spotlight News.

Now, a new exhibition has opened featuring the paintings of just one artist – Mercedes Laguens, who was born in Zaragoza in 1953 – entitled Vestiduras del Tiempo.


She has strong connections with the Balearic Islands and has lived in Palma since 1978 where she's had many exhibitions in the thriving gallery scene in that city.

The exhibition in the Gran Hotel runs until 1st June.
